Old Timers Resisting High Tech

FORM AN"OLD TIMER'S RESISTING HIGH TECH" CHAPTER

Forming an Old Timer's Chapter=

People are drawn together by common interests. It is quite likely that older people that are having difficulty with new technology have quite a few stories they could share. But the resistance to high tech is just one of the common interests of senior citizens. Besides the vagaries of aging and health concerns, social security, medicare, competent hospital and doctor's clinic availability are also at the top of the list of senior issues. But then there is children and grandchildren, marriages, funerals and what do we do in retirement concerns. It helps if people can share those concerns with others who have similar experiences. To that end we are recommending seniors establish an "Old Timer's Resisting High Tech" chapter in their area. As a source for conversation, this website contains a huge amount of information from which to draw on for conversation.

To get together and talk about all of the items we have raised here, can be fun, educational and entertaining.

Forming an OLD TIMER'S Chapter is fairly straight forward:

1. Assemble at least 5 to 10 seniors at a single location and select a temporary leader.

2. Agree to pay "Old Timer's" the sum of $49.95 as a one-time Chapter Fee. The Chapter Fee provides the funds necessary for us to support our Chapters all around the U. S. The group can pay the $49.95 fee by check or money order and send it, along with the name of the city, county and state and the name and contact information of the leader to:
